Michael Andrews is a master craftsman in multiple disciplines; poet/writer, art photographer, color reproduction, letterpress printing, digital imaging, typesetting, book design, binding and woodworking. Although all elements are designed to stand alone, the culminating artifact is the production of exquisite portfolio editions entirely hand made by the artist. Much of the content of his work is based on the world as he finds it, on years traveling the globe, living and working overseas, and close encounters with three very different types of wars including Vietnam, Bangladesh, Iran and Nicaragua.
